  Boston Collegiate Charter School consistently Delivers Strong Results on MCAS EXAMS

  • 100% of Boston Collegiate 10th graders passed the Math MCAS exam for the fifth year in a row. On average, over 88% of 10th graders have scored Advanced or Proficient on the Math MCAS over the past five years.

  • Over 99% of Boston Collegiate students have passed the English MCAS over the past six years. On average, 82.5% of 10th graders have scored Advanced or Proficient on the English MCAS exam over the past six years.

  • Boston Collegiate students have outperformed their peers in Boston and in Massachusetts year after year. In 2007, BCCS 6th, 7th, 8th, and 10th graders posted higher passing and proficiency rates than Boston and Massachusetts averages on every exam administered.

  • Boston Collegiate improved upon its 2006 MCAS results. Boston Collegiate is the #1 school in the state for Advanced or Proficient rate improvement on the 8th grade Math exam.  In 2007, an average of 74% of all BCCS students scored Advanced or Proficient on Math and English MCAS exams, compared to 66% in 2006.
